Put-In-Bay

Put-In-Bay, otherwise known as the Key West of the North, is a perfect golf car destination for the whole family—it’s truly an affordable, mini paradise. With shopping, boating, fishing, and great nightlife options, there’s something for everyone. Beginning around April of each year, the weather is absolutely beautiful, and guess what the main mode of transportation is? You guessed it—golf cars! You can rent them there, or bring your own.
Peachtree City
Georgia
Peachtree City is 90 beautiful miles of multi-use running, cycling, and golf car-ing roads and pathways for you to explore. Almost everyone in Peachtree owns at least one golf car, if not several! This is an ideal vacation spot for relaxing drives and rides through the woods, picking up groceries, or meeting friends and family at one of the local restaurants. Getting around this lovely little town is a breeze in your golf car. Go shopping, enjoy a picnic, or visit the local library at the center of town! There are several cute bed and breakfasts to choose from, so sit back, relax, and enjoy the Southern hospitality.
Lake Placid
New York
If you’ve been to the state of New York, you know it’s so much more than traffic and bustling city life. It also has some of the most beautiful scenery! If you love the outdoors and are looking for a relaxed getaway in nature, visit Lake Placid. The area is filled with wilderness to explore, especially along the back roads. And golf cars are, of course, the preferred method of transportation. This destination is great for camping with the family, hiking, fishing, and exploring. You can check out some of the local wineries and breweries while escaping the Alabama summer heat for a little while.
Polk County
Florida
Right in the middle of Florida, Polk County is easily accessible by the South! With lots of history, attractions, and fun, the whole family will have a great time. You can visit the Fantasy of Flight Vintage Aircraft Museum, or the Bok Tower Gardens for some beautiful scenery. If hunting is more your thing, this is an idea destination for you. You’ll be bagging turkeys and white-tailed deer in no time. Visit Polk County for rich history and plenty of friendly faces.

Speaking of hunting, take a trip to Texas Triggers this summer. Created by History Channel’s “Top Shots” host Colby Donaldson, Texas Triggers is a shooting ranch and theme park. It features several challenges from the show! If you aren’t familiar with the show, just think about getting in a tricked out golf car for a high-octane, target-shooting challenge. It’ll surely get your blood pumping. There are also plenty of activities nearby for the whole family! Check out the Fort Concho National Historic Landmark, the Sonora Golf Course, Franklin Drive Thru Safari, and more!
